Ahsoka’s Release Date Moved Up By a Day, Will Stream on Tuesdays

We already knew that Ahsoka, the upcoming live-action limited series focused on the beloved character Ahsoka Tano, was coming on Disney+ soon. And today, we learned that the show’s premiere date will air a day early and stream on Tuesdays instead of Wednesdays.

In a new post on X, the official Star Wars account confirmed that new episodes of Ahsoka will drop on Tuesdays at 6pm PT / 9pm ET, and that the show’s first two episodes will now premiere on August 22 instead of its original August 23 release date. The move is not surprising for the streaming service as last year, the Marvel series Loki streamed on Wednesdays instead of Fridays.

Ahsoka follows the titular character played by Rosario Dawson, who previously played the character in live-action in The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett. We previously learned that Lars Mikkelsen, who voiced Grand Admiral Thrawn in Star Wars Rebels, will return and plays the live-action version of the villain. Additionally, a recent trailer for Ahsoka confirmed Hayden Christensen’s Anakin Skywalker will appear on the show in some capacity.
