Apple makes some of the best laptops on the market, and if you’re already in the Apple ecosystem with an iPhone or iPad, then it also makes a lot of sense to grab yourself a MacBook. Unfortunately, even base-level MacBooks can be pretty expensive, which is why we’ve scoured several retailers to find the best deals on them.
Some of these deals are better than others, but we’ll be regularly updating this list to make sure you’re seeing the lowest prices available. If you don’t see a deal that’s right for you just yet, check back later. Some of these prices are extremely volatile right now and are liable to change. For that reason, we’d also suggest taking advantage of deals when they’re available because we can’t promise they’ll hang around for long.
US pricing for Apple MacBooks
While Amazon and B&H Photo have the best prices at the moment, one benefit to paying full price and buying from Apple is that you can customize the machine, adding more RAM or a higher-capacity solid-state drive. The models sold by Amazon and other retailers have fixed configurations.
Want to go the refurbished route? You can find refurbished MacBooks on Apple’s Certified Refurbished Mac page. Refurb inventory changes rapidly, so you may not always see the latest MacBook Air or Pro. It’s worth keeping an eye out because you can lock in substantial savings.
It’s also worth noting that the Apple Store offers students an educational discount, which can trim hundreds of dollars from the price of a new laptop or tablet.

The 13-inch MacBook Pro M2 13-inch is plenty fast and boasts up to 20 hours of battery life, and right now you can nab the 512 GB configuration for $200 less.
The baseline model of the 14-inch MacBook Pro normally costs $1,999 but you can get yours for just $1,900 today. The laptop features Apple’s M2 Pro processor (10-core CPU and 16-core GPU), 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD.
The baseline model of the new 16-inch MacBook Pro features Apple’s powerful M2 Pro processor (12-core CPU and 19-core GPU), 16GB of RAM and a 512GB solid-state drive. With the M3 now available, finding an M2 Pro version in stock is currently impossible.

The long-awaited M3 MacBook Pro is here, and you can pick one up with a reasonable discount, albeit not the best that we’ve seen to date. The prices of these machines fluctuate wildly right now, but this is the best available at the time this is published.
