Some of you older gamers might remember Darth Revan as the main character of the 2003 game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Rebublic. As a Sith Lord, Darth Revan wielded the familiar red-bladed lightsaber. However, as a reformed Jedi, he commanded a purple-bladed lighstaber. Thus, Revan’s Black Series Force FX light saber has the unique feature of having two swappable light saber colors: red and purple.
Hasbro’s faithfully detailed 1:1 replica features a solid metal hilt, authentic (officially licensed) sound effects, LED light with smooth progressive effects, and a display to show it all off. This particular lightsaber also has a removable kyber crystal that glows inside the hilt and continues to glow for up to 2 minutes after removed, before fading out. If the crystal is removed while glowing purple, it will slowly change to red before it fades out. That’s a really neat effect and a cool little detail.
