What can I tell you? Today is going to be a day of grifting great bargains and girding one’s butt-cheeks (during the Matilda’s semi-final attempt this evening). Pick of the litter as of now has got to be the ludicrously low price of LEGO Skywalker Saga on Switch. I’m also all about cheap thrills with Resi 2 Deluxe, Sifu Vengeance Edition, and a pretty magical price on Hogwarts Legacy.
Oh, by the by, Amazon AU are now in the Digital Video Games business. Apparently, you can now get access to an extensive selection of downloadable PC and console games, digital game currencies, game memberships, in-game add-ons as well as other digital gaming content, redeemable on PlayStation, Nintendo, Xbox and PC. Obviously, if I see good prices for said non-physical goods, you’ll see them in my Daily Deals mixes. If not, well, you just won’t.

The only thing I love more than LEGO Star Wars is LEGO Star Wars at new historical lows. Skywalker Saga provides some rollicking reimaginings of Star Wars’ most iconic moments and seats them inside a series of interplanetary playgrounds. 8/10, great.

Sifu demands a lot from you, and that’s a sword that cuts both ways. Its combat is impeccable, with incredibly smooth and impactful animation, deep fighting mechanics, and challenging enemies that really make you fight tooth and nail. 9/10, amazing.

Resident Evil 2 Deluxe Ed.
This is how you do a remake. If you’re of the mind that the series had lost its way for a while there, this game is very much a return to form. The zombie combat is satisfying and exploring the dilapidated ruins of Raccoon City is a thrill. 9/10, amazing.
