Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin

TMNT: The Last Ronin is considered one of the darkest TMNT comics, focusing on one of the Turtles and their journey through a bleak world far off in the future. The miniseries was released in 2020 as the first collaboration in years between Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird, TMNT’s original creators.

If you’re a member, the comic is also available for any Kindle Unlimited subscribers at no extra cost, which is absolutely worth keeping in mind. It’s also available for just $10.99 digitally if that’s how you prefer to view your comics.

When it comes to the recently announced game, it is said to take plenty of inspiration from Sony Santa Monica’s God of War franchise as well, according to Doug Rosen, who’s the Senior Vice President for Games and Emerging Media at Paramount Global.

Rosen also noted that it’ll stay true to the story’s arc and maintain its darker tone. With that exciting news, there’s truly no better time to pick up the comic and immerse yourself in its thrilling story before getting to play. We think The Last Ronin Is Perfect for a TMNT Game, but what do you think? Leave your thoughts in the comments below.

In the world of comics, there are plenty more sales to enjoy as well. You can also pick up classics like The Sandman or Watchmen at incredibly low prices right now.
